Wild Bird Terrace

The Wild Bird Terrace was created to honor James J. Audubon, well known American ornithologist, naturalist, and painter who was notable for his extensive studies documenting all types of American birds and for his detailed illustrations that depicted the birds in their natural habitats. One can almost visualize, when looking at the mosaic reproductions of his work, the wildlife that once lived and inhabited the area. Jacquemain has created and inlaid in the terrace over 20 mosaics representing some of Audubon's birds. The terrace is not open to the public but is used for small private gatherings, speakers, and meetings.
